MOBLE COOKIE POLICY

1. Scope

This Cookie Policy explains how MOBLE CMS Pty Ltd (“MOBLE”, “we”, “us”) and our partners use cookies and similar technologies on (i) our websites, help centre and marketing pages (for example, moble.com and subdomains), (ii) our admin console and apps (the “Services”), and (iii) customer websites, storefronts and chatbots that run on the MOBLE platform.

2. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They can be “session” cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent” cookies (remain until they expire or you delete them). We also use similar technologies such as web beacons/pixels, local storage (e.g., HTML5), and SDKs in our scripts to enable features, keep accounts secure, remember preferences, understand usage, and—on our marketing sites—measure and improve our advertising.


3. How we use cookies


  • Strictly necessary – required to operate the site/app, provide login, security, load balancing, fraud prevention, and basic shopping/checkout where enabled.
  • Functional – remember choices (e.g., language, region, UI preferences) and enhance features such as media playback or chatbot state.
  • Performance/analytics – help us understand how sites and features are used (aggregate statistics, diagnostics) so we can improve reliability and experience.
  • Advertising & social media (marketing sites only) – measure campaigns, avoid showing the same ad repeatedly, build audiences, and enable sharing/embeds. We do not use Registered User Data from within the Services for third-party targeted advertising (see Section 9 of our Terms). Merchants may independently enable marketing tags on their own sites (see section 4).


4. Where cookies may be set


  • MOBLE websites & marketing pages. We may set all categories above, including advertising and social media cookies, subject to your preferences.
  • MOBLE admin console & apps (logged-in users). Primarily strictly necessary and functional cookies (e.g., session/authentication, CSRF protection, load balancer cookies) and performance/analytics.
  • Customer websites/storefronts/chatbots built on MOBLE. We may set strictly necessary cookies to make the platform work (e.g., session, security, checkout). Merchants (our customers) decide whether to add other tags (analytics, advertising, social media) and are responsible for obtaining end-user permissions where required. Please refer to the merchant’s own cookie/privacy notices for details specific to their site.
  • Embedded content & third parties. Videos, social widgets, maps, fonts, anti-bot services and payment providers may set their own cookies when embedded or used. Their policies apply to those cookies.


5. Your choices: consent & controls


  • Cookie banner / preferences. On our sites we present a banner and a Cookie Settings (or Your Privacy Choices) control that lets you accept, reject or fine-tune non-essential cookies by category. You can change your choice at any time via the footer link.
  • Global Privacy Control (GPC). Where required by law (e.g., certain US states), we treat a valid GPC signal as an opt-out of sale/sharing/targeted advertising for that browser.
  • Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage. See your browser’s help pages. Blocking some cookies may affect site functionality.
  • Analytics opt-outs. For Google Analytics you can install the opt-out browser add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • Advertising opt-outs. You can opt out of interest-based ads from participating companies via the NAI, DAA or EDAA. Mobile users can use the AppChoices app.


6. How long cookies last

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies typically last from 30 minutes up to 24 months (unless you delete them sooner). Exact lifetimes vary by cookie and purpose.


7. Region-specific information


  • EU/EEA & UK. Under the ePrivacy rules and GDPR/UK GDPR, we obtain your consent before placing non-essential cookies and renew consent periodically (at least annually or sooner if our use materially changes). You may withdraw consent at any time via Cookie Settings.
  • United States. In some states (e.g., CA, CO, CT, VA, UT), you may have rights to opt out of “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising.” Use Your Privacy Choices or send a GPC signal.
  • Australia. We follow OAIC guidance and obtain consent where required. You can manage preferences via our banner and your browser settings.


9. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect technical, legal or business changes. If changes are material, we will take appropriate steps to inform you (e.g., banner/prompt or posting the new effective date at the top).
