2024 ECOMMERCE WEBSITE DESIGN

Euroluce is one of Australia's premium architectural lighting companies, supplying decorative and technical lighting solutions for over 50 years. MOBLE was selected to use AI and web development to scrape and interpret 100,000's of skus from renowned global brands, then design and build a new ecommerce website and ERP integration to serve both the consumer and architectural market.

PROJECT

AI Data Collection. MOBLE wrote a data scraper bot to collect product information, with vast options and variants, in many different formats, in many languages from many leading global brands. We then used AI to unify the data with over 100,000 sku's into a consistent format, ready for ecommerce on MOBLE CMS and warehouse ERP.

Design. A beautiful minimal design showcased product design and specifications while complementing the life and works of each lighting designer.

Development. A website search engine was deployed using MOBLE CMS allowing dual browsing for; architects to filter specific product requirements and make order requests, and for consumers to visually browse through categories and buy online.

Optimisation. With such a vast amount of products, page load time was essential to the client. The website was optimised to be the fastest loading website of their industry peers.

DESIGN

A minimal aesthetic was decided for a complex website. The design would need to service Architects to rapidly find products rapid to suit their exact project requirements, while being visual enough to allow residential consumers to find products and buy online. It was important to our client that the lighting designer was showcased and celebrated, allowing visitors to discover their works and tell that diner party story.

A multi-tier custom product page was designed allowing visitors to dive deeper in to each product whether it was to find exact product specifications or read more about the design.

OPTIMISE

The search page includes over 100,000 skus that is essential for architects to find products by their exact specification and then request a quotation for their project.

It was essential to search all products by Mounting, Brand, Finish, Temperature, and IP rating and allow the page to instantly load without delay.

Searching 100,000 product on one page can be slow, MOBLE optimised the page so that it is the fastest loading page amongst it's industry peers.

RETAINER

In addition to the custom product and category layouts, 18 custom mix and match, drag and drop layouts were designed for the Euroluce team to manage and build new pages rapidly internally with no code and no design skills.

The Euroluce team are supported by MOBLE's Built For You Retainer service, with a number of dedicated hours each month to support complex website tasks such product data, AI management, and inventory management.

NEW PROJECTS

The Euroluce board recently contracted MOBLE for the build of a second major lighting website. The project was a six month build and went live in June 2024.
