This is not redaction; we exclude these fields from your AI Safe so that they never exist. The LLM will know the customer via a UUID, so it can know everything about the customer, but it doesn't know who they are.
When the chatbot gets a question that requires protected customer data, it will ask for the UUID.
You decide what becomes your UUID. For convenience, it might be an existing customer number, or it might be something completely new. Because the apps in your stack all have different unique IDs, we map these via API to the UUID. Therefore, your chatbot can answer questions using knowledge from different apps without exposing the customer’s identity.
OTP is most likely sent via SMS to the mobile phone associated with their account (recommended), but it can also be sent via email.
With this method, the customer's email, mobile, or identity is never exposed to the LLM, and yet the LLM has all the information it needs to answer the customer's question about their account.
Later in the chat, the customer asks a question that requires an answer from protected account information. Since the name, email, and mobile have been given, and now the UUID has been asked, you might ask:

We solve this problem in three ways:
FLOW:
MOBLE's Switchboard tool allows conversations to be switched to an entirely new LLM chatbot thread, without the customer ever realising they have changed the chat thread. This allows one LLM chat to capture user data, and another chat to access private 'My Account' info without ever simultaneously exposing both in the same chat.
For example, you have a sales chatbot that is responsible for lead capture. This captures the customer data, then passes the conversation back to the original chatbot. Even though email and name were captured by one LLM, they are not in the other.
MINIMISATION:
Chat conversations can be summarised before being pass to the next chatbot flow. Therefore, if the customer pre-emptively adds their private data into the chat, it can be removed in an AI Summary before being passed to the next chatbot flow.
With Minimisation, the LLM chatbot flow only has the information it needs to answer the next customer question. An extreme example of this is MOBLE's SPI Score. The LLM scores each conversation with a SPI Score: Status, Priority, and Importance. Therefore the conversation has been minimised and new actions can be automated from the result.
With MOBLE's SPI Scores, the human team can be notified of the summarised lead, ticket, or task, status, priority, and importance, with all other data being visually logged in the Leads, Tickets, and Tasks Board.
REDACTION:
You have the option to redact fields from the chat. For example, you might choose to redact last name, email, and mobile, but allow first name to be seen. When the LLM reviews the captured form answers, it will not see fields that have been redacted.
