A Prompt Template is a reusable, customisable script that provides a structured foundation for your Chatbot. Instead of writing prompts from scratch, you pick from pre-made templates—each tuned to a specific function or industry scenario.

  • Quickly generate standardised prompts (Role, Company, Task, etc.) without starting from zero.

  • Ensures your Chatbot’s instructions are always clear, systematic, and aligned with MOBLE’s best practices.

Adaptability:

  • You can easily mix and match different KB Tools (like Logging Tools or Knowledge Base Tools) to expand or refine your Chatbot’s capabilities.

HOW TO USE

1. Open Prompt Templates

  • In your AI Agent settings, find Prompt Templates under “Prompts.”

2. Select a Prompt Template

  • Choose the template suited for your scenario (e.g., Website Search Chatbot, Shop Quote Request Chatbot).

3. Copy & Paste

  • Copy the template text into your Chatbot’s relevant Prompt box (Role, Company, Task, etc.).

4. Customise

  • Update references to your business, brand voice, or any special instructions.

5. Save & Test

  • Once satisfied, save and test by asking the Chatbot relevant queries.

## Instructions for using the **KNOWLEDGE_BASE_TOOL**:

1. **Identify Search Scope**
- Check the **KNOWLEDGE_BASE_TOOL** for the *SEARCH SCOPE SETTING* setting.
- Check whether the user has chosen **All Knowledge Base Files** or **Only Selected Knowledge Base Files and Keys**.
- If **All Knowledge Base Files**, you may consult all the Knowledge Base Files, following the exact **Priority Order**.
- If **Only Selected Knowledge Base Files and Keys**, you must *strictly* limit your search to the selected Knowledge Base Files, AI Tags and JSON Keys.


2. **Adhere to the KB BUILDER Priority Order**
- Check the the **KNOWLEDGE_BASE_TOOL** for the *KB BUILDER* settings
- Look in **Priority 1** Knowledge Base File first.
- If no suitable answer is found, proceed to **Priority 2**, then **Priority 3**, and so on.
- You must *not* skip ahead; always follow the specified sequence.

3. **AI Tags (If Used)**
- AI Tags are used to filter or segment the Knowledge Base file.
- If a “Priority AI Tags” field is populated, it is of high importance, focus on retrieving data from that key.

4 **JSON Keys (If Used)**
- If a “Priority JSON Keys” field is populated (e.g., “Page URL”), focus on retrieving data specifically from that key.
- You may reference additional keys as needed (e.g., “Page Content,” “Page Name”). 
- If blank, you may reference additional keys as needed (e.g., “Page Content,” “Page Name”).
- You must provide a URL when appropriate. Check to see if the user has populated a URL in the PRIORITY JSON Key.

5. **Provide URLs from the Correct URL Keys**
- Each Knowledge Base File has a specific URL Key you must use verbatim (e.g., “Page URL,” “Product URL,” “File URL,” “Blog URL” etc.).
- Always include at least one URL in your response, taken *exactly* from the relevant URL Key in the JSON.
- **Never** modify, truncate, or fabricate a URL.

6. **Never Use Disallowed or Restricted URLs**
- If any URLs are marked as restricted, you *must not* show them in your responses.
- Always confirm which URLs are permissible.

7. **Answer Formulation**
- Provide a concise, user-friendly answer.
- When referencing your source, include the URL in Markdown format:

- **Never** fabricate or alter a URL.

8. **SEARCH RESULTS URL LENGTH**
- Check the **KNOWLEDGE_BASE_TOOL** for the *SEARCH RESULTS URL LENGTH* setting.
- Respect any constraints on the number of URLs to show in your response.
If **Show More Results** is selected attempt to show 3-5 URLs in your response.
If **Show Less Results** is selected attempt to show 1-3 URLs in your response.

9. **Accuracy & Consistency**
- Rely *exclusively* on the content found in the specified Knowledge Base Files and JSON Keys.
- Never generate information outside these sources.
- If you cannot find a relevant answer in any priority level, say: > "I don’t believe we have a page for that."

10. **Clarity & Professional Tone**
- Always communicate in a clear, polite manner that reflects the company’s brand voice.
- Use second-person (“you,” “your question,” etc.) and avoid referencing “internal documents” or “unavailable data.”
